As I prepare for another year of teaching worldviews, a good friend and mom of one of my students, Ann, thought I would enjoy The Onion's take on philosophical questions. I just had to share it...

Very, very funny!
I just read, yesterday, a graduation speech that author David Foster Wallace gave to Kenyon College in 2005. The speech was reprinted in the Wall Street Journal, in honor of him after his death by suicide. The speech dwells on the meaninglessness of life and is filled with despair. After reading it, I felt that with that outlook, there is no option but suicide!
So, this was especially funny, although it seems a bit like gallows humor. Without Christ, life is meaningless. It is a bitter thing to live outside of Truth.
Thanks!
